When is the next AGM ?
anyone know when it is
Re: When is the next AGM ?
Well of recent years it has been at the National Rally. I doubt this will be the case this year as there isn't a national rally as such as the Centenary Celebrations are taking place instead.

Both of us... doubtful that it will be at the Centenary Rally but yet to be announced!irmscher wrote:Which one of you is correct?? welcome back Matt
I have been around, just lurking in the shadows and making the odd post that you may have missed

Re: When is the next AGM ?
As Matt had previously posted the AGM will not be held at Cornbury Park as it is not the MMOC National Rally, but an International Rally for all Morris models.

Re: When is the next AGM ?
I don't think anyone has suggested that there won't be an AGM- just that it won't be at Cornbury Park!
Re: When is the next AGM ?
There will be an AGM. I understand that it will be Sunday 7th July, but full details will be announced in due course. You don't have to wait for an AGM to air your views, just get your local Branch Liaison Officer to raise it at the Branch Liaison Meeting; or write direct to the office at Derby. In my experience, all questions are handled without any problems.
Re: When is the next AGM ?
For anyone who has missed the announcement, the AGM will be Saturday 6th July, Novotel Nottingham. See page 42 of May / June Minor Matters.

Re: When is the next AGM ?
I see we have the usual lack of interest for the AGM - should be a nice cosy meeting, we can all sit around the top table

Hi Rog,
Did you make it there? I was struggling with a bad back (had problems all week).
Managed to fixx my back with a handful of beers on saturday evening, but for some reason didn't feel great yesterday

Re: When is the next AGM ?
Yes I made it to the AGM with a select band of others - my earlier comment about gathering around the top table was nearly true - a very low key affair - a combination of not being with a liaison meeting or at a Nat Rally & the hot weather meant that excluding the committee there were less than 30 members presentrayofleamington wrote:Hi Rog,
Did you make it there?
AGM followed the usual format - Jon Rocke resigned as webmaster but will carry on until a replacement can be found - all other posts that were up for re-election were re-instated unopposed - subs increased by 50p per adult & £1 ? per senior citizen so all subs are now £24.00 mentioned as still one of the lowest amongst comparable classic car clubs - It was mentioned that Insurance revenue was dropping off with folk leaving the club scheme this was being investigated. The usual thanks to various parties for their hard work through the year especially to do with the centenary rally.
No resolutions had been received

Re: When is the next AGM ?
so nothing new then
Re: When is the next AGM ?
Would be interesting to know how much the 'insurance revenue' is......... It's not hard to see that people are leaving FJ because there are better deals elsewhere. There have been many threads on the subject.

Re: When is the next AGM ?

Re: When is the next AGM ?
All these details are clearly printed in the MMOC Accounts available from the MMOC office, Derby on request.

Re: When is the next AGM ?
and also given out at the AGM - whether requested or not ;-)
That way most (nearly all) local branches get a copy (there is usually a branch liaison meeting together with the AGM)
