South Wales Branch Annoucment

Post by Adrian Pearse »

It is with great sadness that the South Wales Branch has to announce the sad passing of Mr Godfrey Crew this weekend.

Godfrey was a great supporter of his local branch and one the founder members of the branch. Godfrey was also a long server member of the national club and was presented last year with his 40 year members badge.

Godfrey was in every way a gentleman. Always willing to stop and chat and lend a hand when one was needed. His advice and knowledge was second to none, he will be sadly missed within the branch the MMOC and the classic car scene.

Godfrey Crew. A great man a great friend sadly missed.

Mr Crew has been the font of all knowledge for me regarding Morris Minors for the last 35 years, he rewired WDW 20 years ago for me and was always available for advice or spares at the drop of a hat. I am very confident that the big gate to MM heaven will be wide open for him and his bomb disposal van. RIP GC.

I had only just seen this sad news on the LCV Register site. What a very sad loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Just seen the news. Very sad indeed. I feel privileged to have known him and always looked forward to his visits both as a customer and friend...
