THIS GUY SELLS ITEMS ON EBAY BUT HAS BLOCKED ME BUYING PARTS FOR THE CLUB. THIS IS NOT FAIR WHEN I AM BUYING PARTS FOR CLUB MEMBERS BENEFITS.

What did he say the reason for his action was? It could be he thinks the club is selling stuff at a mark up from his prices.

Surely if members were interested in Mr Caudell,s Morris spares they would buy straight off him if they wanted them

Seems a strange thing to do.

Why would an eBay seller NOT want to sell to somebody. Has there been any other dispute with him?

His ebay user name is burtcaudell.
He has a new old stock MM rear bootlid badge on today.
There is no reason given by ebay as to why I cannot bid and since I dont know who he really is I wouldnt know if we as a club have had problems with him in the past.

Any suggestions

Create a new eBay identity and bid with that?

No idea who he is but here's a link to the item, if someone on here wants / needs one. Looks to be a good one.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to contact him and ask the reason for his reluctance to sell to you? Seems the simplest way to solve the issue.

alternatively and communication first is always a good idea. (It is evidence of extreme discourtesy when someone you have messaged fails / refuses to respond often because their position is untenable.) set up a new eBay account and associated e-mail address and order that way / get someone else to order for you

I think that, if an ebay user blocks you, you can't send them messages... not even to find out why you've been blocked

Ah yes, I suppose that figures.

Was the case several years ago. Sold something. Buyer never paid. No response to reminders. After 3 months I had to leave neg feedback, which prompted a stream of abusive messages from the so-called buyer. Messages stopped when I blocked him.
