I'm in bethnal green. On my way to work I pass 3 moggies, my own, a red lcv off on Gibraltar walk, and a very tatty but much photo d split screen on elder street. There's also another two regularly parked on bottom of Pritchard's road and another outside dukes brew and cue in December Beauvoir

There is an Essex Branch but it would be a long way for you to go. Perhaps leave some notes on the cars that you mention and see if you can get together locally to start an East London Branch.
