Thank you guys

I took my Morris out for a spin yesterday and the feeling of pride I had was unbelievable....so much so it felt like my heart was as big as a football :D

I was also amazed of the amount of heads it turned and showing there delight in seeing such an old car on the road 8) I did call in at a petrol station to fuel up and it was a garage were they had petrol attendants and straight away a conversation was struck up and it turned out the guy (Steve) used to work on Morris Minors many years ago.....as I left he asked if I would call in again with my Morris, how nice is that :)

All this in one morning :D

Regards

Earling

I feel very happy for you, I'm currently in the process of purchasing my first, it's one of the greatest cars ever made (in my mind) I hope you enjoy your car, I look forward to getting to know you in the future.

Best Regards,

Joe :D

Good for you! I know exactly how you feel! Just out of curiosity, and without being rude, are you at an age where you remember the Morris Minor on the road, or are you a late convert? My own situation is I remember Morris's when they were every-day transport for many. Happy Minoring!

Hi
I'm 61 years young and always been a great lover of Morris Minors :D In my late teens both me and my mate used to knock around in a black Morris Minor 1000 and great time we had....a lot of girls at the time liked the ford Escorts and Capri but there were those that loved the Minor :)

Earling

The 80's Capri Laser has always been one of my favourites, but I'd rather have a Minor any day of the week, I'm actually hoping to do a custom Traveller, I'm taking inspiration from the E-type Jag, another one of my favourites
