No, I was looking for a couple of old chairs for a specific area of the house when I stumbled across it just last night.
I just thought they may have gotten a better response elsewhere, our very own website for instance.
I dont have room for two and cant summon up the courage to sell Doris for another project, otherwise I may have, it looked in nice shape.
At this point I assume its sold, but dont know for sure.
I shall ask them.

Two possibilities.
First and most likely, a deceased estate sale where contents of house, garage, sheds (hen houses too) all being disposed of as easily as possible by the executors in order to liquidate funds for legatees.

Second and less likely, single item disposal, again quickly and hassle-free, but no specialist classic car auctioneer within convenient reach.

Understood and that did cross my mind.
I get the same sad feeling when I discover some vinyl in a charity shop that clearly was a collection.
My kids have already claimed my collection, little vultures  .

Is 25% commission normal for auctions? Seems like a lot to me.
