A nice story

Post by Blaketon »

Whilst checking my Yahoo email account, I saw an item on an Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV. I always liked that style of Alfa, whether it be the GT Junior or the GTV. My father once looked at a 2 litre version and whilst it was beige (Not my first choice), I was dead keen (As I was growing a tad tall to get into the back of the "First" MGB GT V8, my father was looking for bigger back seats....ended up with a Volvo 245). Anyway that was 45 years ago and I didn't object to squeezing into the V8 and indeed I have squeezed into the back of my mother's present MGB GT, for short journeys (Even though I am now 6 feet tall).

After seeing the Alfa, I saw this - https://www.adrianflux.co.uk/forever-ca ... traveller/ which I am sure will be of interest on here. I've had my Traveller for a bit under 17 years and I have no plans to sell it. However, my MG Midget, with me for 36 years, could possibly be classed as a car for life.
