55 year old car next to a 1,000 year old church

Post by Chappers »

Maisie's first trip out for ages.
Due to the coronavirus lockdown and my work commitments, Maisie has not been out for a good many weeks.
Today we had a trip around the Sussex countryside, stopping for a photo at St Botolph’s church near Steyning West Sussex.
I have always like this church which has Saxon origins, some parts of it are very old indeed, and it’s in a lovely spot.
Maisie went very well indeed, able to happily keep up with modern traffic and bumbling along nicely in the sunshine.
Had a some nice comments from a couple of people who stopped and had a look at her, which was nice.
A beautiful day for a run

Nice pictures of your car at the church with Devils Dyke and the South Downs in background.
We live nearby and often do our 'Seniors midweek ' run in this glorious part of Sussex.

In these troubled times we are truly thankful that we are able to get out in our Minor and enjoy
the wonderful English countryside.
