Minor Matters
Has anyone in the UK received their November December minor matters yet? I saw on Facebook that members in the USA have. But us in NI haven't received ours yet....as we are always late..... Tia

Re: Minor Matters
Arrived Friday 13th in rural SW France (despite the 11th, Armistice Day, being a public holiday here)

Re: Minor Matters
Message from MMOC Derby Office.
Following comments on late receipt of the club magazine, all I can say is that the magazines are always posted on the same day from the printers to all our members and unfortunately the problem lies with Royal Mail. There have been additional issues with Royal Mail this year due to staffing problems.
Minor Matters is scheduled to be posted on the first Thursday of the month they are due, i.e. the January/February 2021 copy is due to be posted from the printers on Thursday 7th January 2021.

Re: Minor Matters
So I guess there have been a few deliveries since the weekend of the Jan/Feb 2021 edition.
Mine arrived yesterday and so far I've flicked through it reading some of the shorter items before finding time to tackle the longer articles, such as 'The Last Saloon'.
The Member's Cars feature caught my eye...
I thought that the item from Natasha Jenkins about 'Rosie' was very interesting (p38)
Nice photos, including a suspended bucket of thrown water, professionally taken and credited to Athena Photography, all rather reminiscent of a typical 'garage calendar' as might be found hanging in many a workshop in decades past.....My thoughts drifted back to the heady days of the iconic Athena Posters that were famous in the 70s & 80s.
Even Mrs Berni made comment about the attire for washing the car....
