Hi,
Spotted these going cheaply on eBay, ideal for those wishing to retain their 803 engines.
Always good to have a spare. Buy the four, keep one and pass on the rest.
Best wishes,
Mike.

I always thought 80mph was a bit optimistic for an 803cc Minor!

Three of the four have a TPM of 1000. I don't think this is a common spec for Minors.

I was assuming he was selling them as spares in need of refurbishment.
At that price, as I said, you could buy them keep one for a spare and sell off the other three individually to other owners.
Here's another with the fuel gauge still place, which is worth it in itself.

Yes, 1000 TMP gold face only suits the late series IIs -- those with the revised dashboard, slat grille, etc. They weren't around for long before the Minor 1000 came along. They will give wildly inaccurate readings with a the later model.TPM of 1000 is suitable for an 803cc Series II Minor
