You could just order a new ignition switch, and fit that.

Failing that, for safety you would need a three position off/on/start switch which would work without the key. That way, if the unthinkable happens, you could switch the engine off very easily without fiddling around with live wires...

As for the colours, I can't be sure, 'cos Phyllis has a pull-start. However someone will have the answer to this.

All I would ask is that the answer is PMd, rather than posted on the board. Hotwiring a Minor won't be difficult, but let's not give the toe-rags the instructions, eh?
