fuses

Post by Willie »

Ok here we go: terminal B should have one brown wire on it.
terminalA2 should have two purple wires.
terminalA3..three White wires
terminal A4 three Green wires.
let's hope that after you have identified those wires you do not
have any left over!

fusebox

PAUL, managed to scrub out your e mail so will reply on here.
Assuming that you have 3 whites on A3 and three greens onA4
then, with the ignition turned ON the following should all work:
stop lamps, fuel gauge, indicators, heater, and wipers.( Do not
leave ignition on for too long without engine running). With
one Brown to terminal B,the two purple wires on A2 would supply
the horn and the interior light (regardless of wether the ignition is
on or off). Check the colour of the wire at the horn itself,
if it looks the same shade as your 'uncertain purples '
then connect to A2 and see if the horn now
works, ditto with the interior light. The cloth covered red is not
standard....probably a feed to a radio. This would connect to A2
so that the radio would work with the ignition Off. The ' small box
to the right of the fuse box' is a mystery, has it any identifying
marks? Doesn't really matter yet,you need to get the items above
ALL working correctly before tracing the other items.
