Flasher unit quality

Post by Propshaft »

Hi three months ago I fitted a replacement flasher unit can it has now died . On opening it up I can understand why the quality of workmanship and materials is absolute rubbish . A friend of mine had two old ones which didn't function 100% , took the inards out and what a difference in materials and workmanship , after a few minutes got one of the old ones working perfectly, it is now fitted and in use

And it will no doubt last!
I have had problems with flasher units and agree they are 'not very well made'!
