Electronic distributor

Post by kevin s »

I'm thinking about converting our 1098 to electronic ignition, looking around there seem to be plenty of A+ electronic distributors out there, has anyone fitted one? Any issues?

Kevin,

We have had a Petronix conversion on our 1098 Traveller for 2-3 years now without any problems. It can be easily switched back if needs be. We got it through Distributor Doctor - http://www.distributordoctor.com/lucas- ... ition.html

I fitted an Accuspark 'Stealth' dizzy a few years ago and it's been fine. I actually had to pinch it to fit to my Commer camper last year, the Minor is in bits so I don't think it will mind.
