Hi. Can someone post a sketch showing cables and colours connected to the later type starter solenoid. Please. Tony

Thank you. Any chance of an actual pic that clearly shows what colour wires are connected to each terminal on the solenoid? Regards Tony

This is a solenoid with a alternator, hope this helps

The colours and piositions will be roughly the same for a dynamo, just that the brown will come from the control box. Your battery connection might be black rather than red (the red is really good, but not usually factory fitted).
