Smiths RV1 Tachometer.

Hi everybody,
Cannot make out how the “pulse wiring “ goes.
Looks like some sort of connector is missing where the said wire loops.
Am I correct,and can I get round it somehow?

There should be a bridge,plastic with metal inside around which you put one turn of the wire going to the coil , like a winding of a transformer..

Oh,just one more thing,should the small metal clamp contact the two pegs that can be seen in the photo? :wink:

Yes,the missing piece makes a magnetic circuit and former for the input signal.
