Seat webbing straps

Post by Mr_Moggie »

Hello again :D .

Before I joined MMOC, I have been restoring the car ever since I first bought it, a couple of months ago back in July. One specific part of the restoration was the passenger seat webbing, which actually makes a major difference to the comfort. Anyway, I noticed when I sat in it my back started hurting, so I assumed that it was the seat webbing straps, which it was. Then, I took the passenger seat out and took it apart, which is rather straightforward :) , and then my mum ordered 5 straps from Andrew Eggleton who sold them on Ebay, and infact you can order them from http://www.morrisminorpartsbath.co.uk.

I would do so if you want to keep the seats, and if you want your ride comfort to be good :P .

I hope this helps  .

There's no doubt about it, besides, I read in my restoration guide by Haynes that Morris Minors are 'Mechano Cars', which makes sense if you think about it  .
