Re: saab seats
Would too be interested just to see how you mounted them. If one of the mods could move my thread about mine to this section too? http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=40558

Re: saab seats
You might find it hard to obtain parts for your Saab seats.
The standard seats are fine and old car seats, being properly sprung and no attention having been paid to stupid lumbar support (whatever that means) and 'ergonomics' are far superior.
Modern car seats are God-awful affairs with a bit of cloth stretched over an MDF board.
Give me a leather bench any day.

Re: saab seats
I beg to differ, Minor seats get very uncomfortable after about 3 or 4 hours of driving. The standard seats are fine and old car seats, being properly sprung and no attention having been paid to stupid lumbar support (whatever that means) and 'ergonomics' are far superior
Lumbar support and ergonomics amount to seats that are human shaped, not flat.

Re: saab seats
I've never seen a Saab 8000. Whats one of those?
Matt has saab 9000 seats in his trav though, as seat conversions go its fairly straightforwards to do.

Re: saab seats
Saab 8000 was a 1985 project later renamed 960, it was suposed to have a 4 cylinder Subaru engine. Know nothing about the seats though...
