brake bleeding
not my idea (poached off the scimitar forum) but worth a mention, when bleeding brakes instead of the short pipe into a bottle use a long clear pipe from the bleed nipple and take it up to the fluid reservoir and put the end into the fluid then simply pump the brake and watch the pipe at the reservoir as the fluid is pumped back into the system untill no more air bubbles are seen. leaving the pipe in the reservoir, get out close off the nipple, nip the end of the pipe and drain the fuid back into the reservoir,no more in and out to empty the bottle and fill up the reservoir. The air just bubbles out of the reservoir and can't get back into the system. Now why didn't I think of that

Re: brake bleeding
I wouldn't pump it back into the system unless it is new brake fluid.
The old stuff absorbs water and get quite dirty.
