I recently bought an [] large bore,stainless steel exhaust for my 1000 traveller, which is fitted with a midget engine. This system has needed a certain amount of modification by a local exhaust manufacturer to enable it to fit over the back axle.
I post this as a warning to any other prospective purchasers of this exhaust system, which in all other respects appears to be of excellent quality.
(Whilst in conversation with the exhaust fitter, he told me that for some £50/60 pounds more than I paid, he could have made up a system, in a slightly thicker grade stainless, and fitted it for me, using the old exhaust as a pattern!)
I hope to have the whole thing bolted together and tested tomorrow.

I suspect there are very few manufacturers of these systems, and they are then distributed by most of the Minor specialists. The larger bore stainless systems seem to come in for more than their fair share of complaints......
