The sheet looks OK for grinding sparks, a bit flammable to be around welding though.
Any weld that gets on your clothes tends to get put out fast as it hurts if any got on the sheet it might smoulder away after the welding was finished for the day

Good point Marky. FWIW, I have a couple of welding blankets that I use.
