Anyone know AAD353B
I just bought a heavily modified Morris Pickup, and would be interested to hear if anyone out there knows anything about this vehicle.

Hi Alain,
A few of us noticed that one on e-bay! What are you plans for it?

I'll try that (contacting the local branch), although from what I have learnt about the car so far, it has been in storage for at least the last three years, and lord knows where it was based before that!
My initial intention is to get it running, since its been sat for so long its 'having issues' at the moment, but they dont seem insurmountable. In the short-term it'll become my daily-drive so that I can get about and pickup the spares I need to bring my extremely unhappy 69 2-door back to life!
In the longer term I want to completely gut the interior, including replacing the ignition wiring with 'numbered black wires' (ignition wiring got wrapped around the steering column and was ripped out when they moved it), adding padded seats, removing the incredibly nasty padded vinyl dash (they REALLY werent joking about the interior), and seat-belts!
After that the exterior is going to need remodelling, that black box on the back looks great ... from a distance! Close-up its a little flimsy, covered in pop-rivets, and not very nicely joined together in places.
Having said that though I may end up getting distracted by the Traveller I was given by the lady who I rented the trailer from, its in pieces, but it looks like all the panels are there and in good condition, although I have only seen it sat underneath a pile of garage clutter!
Not bad, two morrises (morri?) for under £600 ... well chuffed!

determining a value for a standard minor isn't too tough.
For the heavily customised one.. Errr - not an easy thing to calculate especially if it's off the road.
There's details on page 7 of the last MMOC magazine for how to get in touch with approved valuers.
On the up side, it seems you are another member of the rapidly growing free traveller club!
