My Dad has just bought some wings from a custom moggie that was apparently really famous in the 1980's. I know the car was Yellow, saloon and was fitted with a Chevy engine and nitrous apparently and was featured in the magazine Street Machine in the 1980's. Car has since been scrapped.
Anyone got a picture of the car available to look at? Or knows the car in question?
Thanks
Aaron

I saw them on ebay this style of wing was made by a lad who used to work in the rod and custom shop in Cheadle Heath Stockport .The guy who made them was also a member of the rainy city cruisers in th early 70,s he used to fab lots of stuff willys flip fronts etc by hand and the wings are definately his work and well made about 8 layers

Thanks for that. Do you know of the Minor in question then? Tried fitting them today but the rears don't match up hole wise so will need some re-drilling!

They certainly are well made, the rears are very heavy compared to the standard steel wings and these are fibreglass!irmscher wrote:I saw them on ebay this style of wing was made by a lad who used to work in the rod and custom shop in Cheadle Heath Stockport .The guy who made them was also a member of the rainy city cruisers in th early 70,s he used to fab lots of stuff willys flip fronts etc by hand and the wings are definately his work and well made about 8 layers
