Post by mach2 »

hi all
does anyone know where abouts I can get a longer throttle and choke cable as mine are a bit stretched and tight across the engine bay.
thanks

if in doubt give it a clout!

apparently, you can use stuff from bike shops. the stuff that normally does for the brake cables on pushbikes.

or you can re-route the cables through different holes in the bulkhead. and move the choke one down to the far left hole in the dash.

or, measure the ones you've got and ring any number of morris minor parts suppliers. the ones they stock may be longer than ones you've got already, and they may even do long ones for modified cars.

Measure the length of the outer sleeve of the accelerator cable then add on a bit and try a decent motor accessory shop.
