Hi all i've bought a 6cwt Austin van same as(Morris 1000 van) i d'ont have reg doc and need to register it on age related no plate but i need someone to verify its age, also in need of information on how to apply for v5, i really want to get a v5 before i do the extensive repairs it requires to be restored best regards Brett

Have a look at the page

where you will see you can download and post off a V62 with £25 fee. Under section A you will see you are allowed to ask for a new V5

“Use this form to apply for a vehicle registration certificate (V5C):
• if you have bought the vehicle but have not received the V5C in your
name, (you should allow four weeks from the date you bought the
vehicle before you use this form), or....."

Then once you have your new V5 I guess you can then ask for an age related plate (unless the original was not sold off by previous owner?).

This assumes you know the Reg number of the van ? Contact POMMreg with the chassis and body and engine numbers and he will know the 'age' when it was built.
