Pistons

Post by panky »

I've been looking at my spare engine, took the head off to reveal pretty grotty chambers with a couple of sticky valves that tapped back into place(been stood a long time). The piston crowns wiped clean very easily and revealed these markings.
Is the 2007 a date stamp? or is it some other identification number. Thanks[frame]Image[/frame]

I suspect they are a LOT older than 2007...

So do I, just seemed an odd number and thought it could have been a re-build date.
