Best place to sell MM Dash Gauges

Post by southislandkiwi »

I have a panel of MM Series Smith dash gauges (fuel, speedo, oil) Parts number 70620/2 1600 and am wondering if there would be much interest in them and what an appropriate reserve price would be if I listed them on ebay or similar. They are mounted on a metal panel and look like they are in reasonable condition with some of original wiring, even a light bulb. They came in a pile of spare parts I was obliged to take with a 1949 low light I bought (and later sold) in the '70s. Thanks in advance if you can help

They appear from time to time on ebay in various conditions and often at a low starting price. Ive noticed them go between £15 and about £100 for a complete dash panel. The joys of ebay, you take a chance with it but its such a good way to open it to world wide bidders.

Good luck :D

I recently sold one on Ebay and it made £35 but I have seen them with an asking price of over £100.
May be more profitable to list the instruments as individual items.

Maybe try an advert in Minor Matters at least an enthusiast and member would want them and pay a decent price :)

There are several Series MMs in your part of the world, is there a local club magazine?

I appreciate the suggestions. Thank you. Hopefully I will be able to connect with a genuine enthusiast as a result. I loved my Morrie and often wished I still had it.

Bit spendy to buy another even in NZ Irmscher. When I win the lotto definitely. Sorry Tysonn, don't understand your post. Do you mean you have a Morrie for sale?
