TTV 588

Post by myoldjalopy »

TTV 588.This was my first Moggie, a blue 2-door split-screen saloon, bought in Cornwall off a good friend and sold in Bristol to a young woman back in the 80's. According to DVLA the car still exists. If someone here owns her it would be nice to know - I can supply a few details about her life/history in Cornwall before she went 'up-country'. According to one source she was once featured on the front cover of National Geographic magazine

It is 22 years since TTV 588 was last taxed, so it may just be in a barn somewhere, or under restoration.
However, it has just as likely been scrapped, and the then owners didn't tell DVLA at the time, so it remains on their listings.

Oh dear! And she was in such good condition when I sold her. Let's hope she didn't get scrapped
