Hi All,
I am in the process of restoring a 1951 split glass MM. The original registration book of the vehicle mentions the color as white. According to Ray Newell's book, White was not a color offered in 1951. However, as this was an export model could white have been offered? Can anybody enlighten me as to how I can find out the original color of the car. Would there be any source where the original color can be traced by giving the chassis number?
Thanks in advance

Re: ORIGINAL COLOR
A heritage certificate should confirm the original details from http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk/ ... cates.html.
Alternatively you might find traces of original paint in some untouched corner such as behind the dash.
