I don't understand why information cannot be freely shared in the interest of the history of the Morris Minor :o

Be fair,we do Russ when it comes to answering questions or giving opinions on stuff you're not too sure of but to supply info on the history and details of the minor to you, would be like supplying coal to Newcastle. :D

"65" found!

Good policy to question things though....
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Chris more info for you

Red pick-up in Chile OFH65/121426
another pick up in Chile that is CKD MAU3L/146177 dispatched July 1962

All the Chile info I have was for an article planned a few years back but never got round to write it, will one day I am sure and I t will look like I gleaned it from Chris' book!

DOMI chassis OGH35/16426 (no body number)

What is you 65?

Using "3" AND "L" concurrently - have a MAU3 listed already, but could have been an error for 5 (flat-top "3" & "5") - more to this chassis/id number info than meets the eye...differing fonts/sizes for some factories...etc.

Did " Addison & Co" build CKD's, or were they dealer's?

The 3 & L are 100% accurate in this case to Chile even have Heritage documentation to confirm!

Addison & Co? Where were they based?

and you mention you have a '65' what is it? & where

The chassis numbers quoted were they any good as you made a suggestion without them the book was 'hanging in the balance' yet you have just glossed over them without comment other than questioning it may be an error!

I gave you allocation details of that 1958 GPO van as requested.

No please nor thank you.

Although I DO appreciate the info supplied, I feel it's only a "Carrot Dangling" exercise - I am NOT a donkey!

Hoped it was a new beginning, but aggressive emails demanding info is no way to behave.

DOMI van cab number, please.

Most enquiries I receive nowadays involve confirmation of vehicle authenticity - for example, prior to Christmas saved a chap from a €15k dud - rather knocks the 'Data Protection" thing on the head.
