Tracing 2 Traveller's
First one is a blk 1957 example which spent some years in Norway/Scandinavia - poss now in Scotland(?).
The other is an almond grn 1964 - currently with an enthusiast in Norway who has asked me to help trace it's former UK identity - anyone know of an exported hm.mkt Traveller fitting this description
I have yet to do an id check on the latter to confirm 100% it is 1964.
Any help, greatly appreciated.

Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Re: Tracing 2 Traveller's
Final request for info.
To sum up, the vehicle is a 1964 Morris Minor Traveller in Almond Green - chassis number stamped into bulkhead, body & engine numbers match for c11/64 - but when exported to Norway in 1993 carried the identity of a black 1957 Traveller.
Anyone missing a green "B" reg Traveller during or before 1993, please let me know.

Have wondered why some car bonnets go DOWN when owners see me approaching at National's!!

That's rather a profound statement, I'm not sure many would agree but each to their own.
Fear isn't an emotion I would experience if you approached my car "bonnet up" indeed, I'd welcome your interest. I'm sure many have a great respect for what you do, myself included.
Do you want to frighten people ?
Try this
Booooooo

You could try a disguise Chris, or approach from behind! I only ever open my bonnet in private, or by appointment following a brief questionaire.

Lots of cars have been altered and if there car is correct they should not be worried.Ebay has a lot to answer for selling log books etc and cosmetically modified cars ie saloons as convertibles and cars with a different identity

Re: Tracing 2 Traveller's
Lee, great to hear you're back with us!
The odd thing about the 1957 identity is the chassis plate - should be big square alloy - but it's an "oval" and looks to have been stamped by a inebriated toddler!
Usually Vin plate is a straight swop, makes me think the "offender" only had a logbook(?). Sadly, no "Dealer" recorded on HC, so unable to trace!

Re: Tracing 2 Traveller's
LCV book has been put on the back burner - too many daft details and too many lists - potential buyers prefer photos, not (essentially) a reference book.irmscher wrote:When is the book out Chris
ID booklet delayed as printer gave up on me! DP Tourer body code (different to standard ones) unknown.
So many "Duff" Minor's about, enthusiasts have no reference material to ensure they don't buy one!
