XUO 354
Does anyone now own this Number ? It was originally ( from first registration ) on a 1957 Convertible but removed in 2010 . Info required to complete the cars history. The car is now registered as 781 XUX .[frame][/frame]

Re: XUO 354
Sorry, senior moment set in there................
I looked in the GOV.UK Transport website for the Reg, including the vehicle type and it came up as number not recognised. Can you tell me how to look into the Congestion Charge Listing or is it for specific people only ?
I have found out that the Number was removed from the car by a dealer in Dorset, when he purchased it in 2010 but there the trail dies.

Go to tfl.gov.uk, click on 'congestion charge', click on 'pay the congestion charge', type in reg details.

Don't know how but the Congestion Charge information is incorrect. The MOT section of Gov.UK does not recognise the Registration as fitted to a Ford.
I put my current registration onto the Con Ch database and it came up with a grey Morris Traveller with an expired MOT.
Thanks for the info though..........

Not sure how you got that info from Congestion charge site - I got 'green morris minor'Richard Leslie wrote:I put my current registration onto the Con Ch database and it came up with a grey Morris Traveller with an expired MOT.
There are many errors on the info held on the on the dvlc database, - the transit might not be registered as a 'Ford' in the appropriate box......
My Jowett doesn't show up on any dvlc related searches although I have a V5C for it.......

Re: XUO 354
True Andy, I put 781 XUX in the Con Ch site and it does show my car, I put in XUX 781 and it shows a Grey Traveller.
I don't think its possible just to put in the Reg and no Make in the GOV.UK database to find ownership. I might try working my way through all the possible Makes to see if I hit the right one.
Rick
