Evening all, again not wholey a scrapyard, but driving around recently I came across a trafalger blue minor, emblazoned with Dominoes pizza stickers parked outside the takeaway chain in St Austell.

Has anyone noticed this before? Plus has anyone approached the owner as it seems a great waste

Hi , its been there for years - such a shame !! We often see it on our way through to Gorran Haven. Think some time ago I mentioned it in a post 🤔

Yes, it has been there for years - and, sadly, deteriorating all the while. It looked pretty good backalong but is in a sorry state now :(

I remember seeing it a few years ago but couldn't remember where it was. Shame as the doors look better than mine!

I live not far away and have left my number a few times but nobody ever bothers to get back to me; apparently 'he'll never sell' is what i was told.
I remember it being a fairly smart little car when it first appeared there.

Why do people just leave them...?

Can be seen on Google street view - do a 180 degree turn to view.

What a waste......
Some people.......
Has anyone ever asked him if he really thinks a neglected classic car makes good advertising??
Or does he actually deliberately want to watch it to rust into the ground for some reason??
Best wishes,
Mike.

I'm not sure, but at one time they might have delivered in it. Then, the usual story, it became 'undrivable' for some reason and abandoned to the old tin worm. :(

Funnily enough i met a bloke only the other day who came to chat to me about mine, (I have an almost identical spec Trafalgar Blue 2 door in my little fleet, ) and he told me HE used to fix it for the owner and get it through the MOT every year. When it failed he was expecting to be asked to sort it out and 'do it properly' (his words) but the owner just stuck it on the forecourt and left it because he didn't want to pay.

They used it for pizza delivery allegedly.....

On the streetview image I thought it was a splitscreen, until I zoomed in and realised it was the wiper arm.

If you move up/down the road, it looks like the floors somewhat rotten, the drivers door bottom looks really bad.
