Hi I want your thoughts on my plan of action. I have just bought a green 53 mm and i want to find out is it OK to change colour of car and interior as i will probably do a restoration from ground up,or will i devalue the car for ever more. The front leather faced seats are in poor condition cracked and split, front door panels are not correct [grey painted green] the rear inner wing trims with arm rests are distorted and held in by screws,no carpets, the rear seats appear to have had some sort of colourant put on them which is not too bad but when they were done there was a blob left on seat base which
has d left a very small patch of leather?? showing.
Sorry this is so long but I expect to be asking a lot of questions in the future.
Would appreciate your input but still might go my own way
Regards Ian
Colour of 53 mm

Be careful what colour you choose. A non Series MM colour can look rather obvious. A list of colours in use at the time can be found under Technical Info. Also note that the chassis no. code eg FBE can be a give away that you have changed the colour.
Please email me the details of your new aquisition so that I can add it to the register.
