Need to see the stamped chassis number to date - no corrosion on chassis plate fixing
screws a worry(?).

Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

the plate puts it in 1949 yes but as POMMREG says the stamped chassis will show it's true date :)

As Frank suggests, the PLATE dates to approx 8-9/49, but whether the CAR does too....

Who knows..

Not on my records, could I have some more info? Is there a reason for doubting its age?
Definately pre mid 1950, no LBM

It looks right for a 1949. GCY reg number was issued 9/49.
Also looks a good project.
Now where will the price settle? £1500? £1750, £2K even?
