Saloons normally have five leaves while travellers have seven, not sure about commercials though.

Series MM springs are 7 leaf 7/32 thick, however these are difficult to find in good condition so the later 5 leaf 1/4 M1000 saloon spings can be fitted.
The 7 leaf Traveller springs are thicker than the 7 leaf MM springs and will give a harder ride as well as jacking the back end up
