Series MM Carb

Post by mike.perry »

The correct carb is H1 horizontal 1 1/8 in.
Not H1 semi downdraught with angled float chamber as fitted to the 803cc
A Series engine.

The "1" represents how many 1/8ths over 1".
H1 = 1 1/8"
H2 = 1 1/4"
etc

Early Series MMs had the float chamber on the forward side of the carb but I think yours would be at the rear (most are).
