Visual Mode

Post by TerryG »

When posting as soon as you click in the message body box to start writing your message a message appears saying "Use Visual Mode" if you press OK some new options appear (Bold, Italics, New smilys) but these dont work after the message is submitted in their place are some ascii charactures.

Sorry to be a bore, but it doesn't happen on a Mac, if that gives any clues.

It's an internet exploder thing (HTML2 I think) It doesn’t do it in Opera. Only IE is affected.

Visual Feast

Post by WebEditor »

Really sorry guys but Visual Mode is all my fault. 8)

I need it when editing articles and other stuff on the site. I'll try and remember to turn it off when I've finished - it's a bit like putting the cat out at night aint it?

But if I forget to turn it off, just think of it as reassurance that somewhere deep inside the monster that has become our website, a new page is born!
