Jay has since sold the pick up in question but it is probably still about, just not in his ownershipPOMMReg wrote:Hi,
Just noticed Jay's request for info on '63 pick up ALA 979A;
Is this motor still extant?
It started out as a GPO Engineers' Utility and its original registration was 440 GPO.

Soton Tahn
Shame!!
490 GPO still about (restored) , ALA 979A would of looked like this when new!
Jay didn't make of the note of its cab number did he?

Re: SADMOG (Sowf'ampton taawn)
Matt kindly mentioned SADMOG to me in a pm about another post. Sounds like fun - I live in Gosport, and commute to Southampton (in my convertible - brr its cold!). When is the next meet - I would love to come along (childrens clubs / wife permitting!).
