Now I know, and you know I know, that Australians simply don't think that way :-)

As far as I can see, when you enter a sporting contrst the idea that you might lose doesn't occur to you :-)

Isn't that supposed to be a good thing, and one of the points of the whole tiresome business of sport?

Well, yes, but most are at least aware of the possibility of losing. Australians don't actually seem to be aware that it could happen and disregard any evidence to the contrary.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that's the first ever time Australia have lost by ten wickets in a one-day game...

Lost four out of the last five one days, I think. But I wouldn't write them off for the World Cup though, they have a nasty habit of bouncing back.

And we (Kiwis) have a nasty habit of wrenching a loss out of the jaws of a victory :o :o :o  :D

I would think many have not discussed the ashes because they have no interest in cricket! Minors yes, cricket (yawwwn!)

With the Kiwi and Aussie teams, we Kiwis gotta get in when we are winning as it doesn't happen often.

Chickenjohn there is a clear link between a Moggie and a cricket game. Both take a while to get anywhere, both have enthusiastic fans, and I won't even mention what traveler wood is made from :D :D :D :D :D
