I wanted an AMC Pacer after I saw Wayne's World. Still think they're kind of cool, in a weird, quirky way.

Takes me back, my dad had a white T-reg 2 door Chevette saloon, awful looking thing but went for years without a hiccup - sailed through the MoT every year!

(Occasionally needed to bang the starter motor with a spanner/hammer/scaffolding pole...)

The problem was a missing rubber boot from somewhere on the starter motor from what i remember - i'm sure it cost 69p to resolve the problem!
