I got this 1, http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165667

I know is a cheap and cheerful 1, but its got plenty of storage compartments, and build quality is very good in my opinion

Yea great price I had to get my local store to order it for me because it was out of stock in every halfords over here, but worth the wait!
Up til now all I had was a cantilever toolbox.
The halfords 1 beats bending up and down, and atleast you can see were everything is too.

Well - I see a Minor in one picture............... Never understood this business of fancy 'tool boxes' - I keep mine in a bag - in the car! Handy then if the car breaks down..........

If I had the space & deep enough pockets I would have one of these big drawer & chest tool houses as it would be neat to be able to have everything in order where I can find it. As it is I use a good old cantilever box which I can open and pretty much see everything and pick out what I need. When travelling around I use a small plastic box with only a few tools as I always worry some opportunist thief will steal my car and blag all my tools (none of which are expensive but to replace would cost a fair bit).

Bye the way the cantilever box is also good (not as good a a bag, I will admit) when at the scrappies you can (empty out some tools first) fill the bottom with those elusive screws, clips, bits & bobs that you never really need but is good to have and the scrappy only charges for what you have in your hand. Not that I have done this but someone told me

took 20mins to get served and then because i hadn't taken the invoice (one off the e mail sent confirming the order )
took the guy a further 5 mins to retrieve the info needed to book it out all in all i was almost 30 mins in the shop
modern technology let down by lack of staff on a saturday .......
