Iveco suprise suspension
Took my 3.5 ton Iveco turbo daily for an MOT last week and as I know the inspector he let me underneath whilst it was on the lift as I hadn't seen undeneath before, my first suprise was that it has 2 prop shafts apparently because of the length as one would flap about, I then turned my attention to the front end and discovered..............torsion bar suspension, just like a moggy, fancy that eh ?[frame][/frame]

Re: Iveco suprise suspension
Never considered that possibility before but, thinking about it, a tipping cab would mean suspension turrets were a bit of a pain.
Older and more confused than I could ever imagine possible.

The later Ivecos have a transverse leaf spring on the front. There's progress for you
