I know this is not a morris but dont know who else to ask, and hope someone can help, i have a trike with a robin reliant 850cc engine. it was running fine then wont start, i have replaced with new, the battery, the coil, points, condensor, distributor cap, plugs and leads, i have redone the timing as per the book and cant get a spark at the plugs, have a good spark at the points, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Rotor arm?

Take the lead from the coil out of the cap, lay it on the engine and with the ignition on and the points shut, tweak the points open with a lolly stick or something.
This should give a good spark from the lead.

If it doesn't get a meter and find out where the power has gone.

I had a Reliant or two about forty years ago. I remember one of them had a distributor that rotated the opposite way to the others. Worth checking it rotates the way your expecting - you might just be missing the spark.

Can't offer any advice, but a quick google throws up the Reliant 3 wheeler forum...

As MarkyB said, possible rotor, but,
have a good spark at the points
This leads me to think that the condensor is the problem, I know you said that you replaced it, but you should only have a small spark at the points. Do you have the old condensor to try?
