Re: clarkson
If he is going to punch colleagues when he gets tetchy the BBC will have tough time employing him.
He is entertaining but I suspect working with him is a nightmare.

Re: clarkson
Comes to something when the only way to get a TG fix on a Sunday night is to flick over to "Dave"
The voices in my head may not be real.... But they have some damn good ideas.

Re: clarkson
So the great BBC Clarkson inquisition started today... Any predictions on the outcome?
Re: clarkson
I reckon they will 'make an example' and give him the push, because they know he's about to quit anyway.

Re: clarkson
He will be back the BBC are losing millions of viewers it states in the press. The show wouldn't be Top Gear without Clarkson
Re: clarkson
Even if they do allow him back - he won't stay beyond his contract at the end of March - and probably the other two will go with him... To another TV company who will develop a similar show for them. I hope !! Only snag is - their contracts may very possibly have clauses in them that don't allow them to work on any other motoring show for a period of time - if they don't renew with the BBC. But if the BBC 'sacks' Clarkson - I guess HE will be free to do anything he wants... so from that point of view - he may wind them up enough to make sure he gets sacked. The other two don't matter - Clarkson could easily carry a show with new supporting staff. Just noticed on Sky - Clarkson fights back! Read all about it in the Daily Mail tomorrow !!

Re: clarkson
Not any more. He reportedly sold his share to the BBC (he and Andy Wilman the producer owned 50% of "Top Gear" between them) for around £8million 2 or 3 years ago. The BBC now own all of it.bmcecosse wrote:He may even still own the 'Top Gear' name.....

Re: clarkson
Jeremy Clarkson proffesses to hate caravans, anyone with facial hair and my birth town. As a caravanning, unshaven individual still living in the same town, I think the man is a genius. His books are genuine laugh-out-loud as well as thought provoking. I hope he is on the scene for some years to come.

Re: clarkson
I talked to Clarkson at the NEC a few years ago in a group and he admitted to larking about and trying to upset people for a laugh ie Marina owners caravan owners etc .I agree viewsonic his books are brilliant and never fail to amuse with his tongue in cheek and don't hold back style

Re: clarkson
I'm easy as to his fate but if it's true that he hit someone because there was no food ready, who on earth wants to defend that!

Re: clarkson
He's threatening to sue the Beeb if they sack him. However, most employers would sack someone if they assaulted a co-worker, so if he actually DID punch the guy, I don't fancy his chances much.............
