I'm on a couple of forums with joke threads and funny picture threads - they work well but only if people are willing to play by the rules and there is a moderator who is an enthusiastic participant (which means there's someone on hand to cut out the naughty stuff).
The biggest problem would be that you Brits would have to learn to understand Aussie humour

Aussie humour is great but I love any humour, laughing with people has always been a hobby of mine, you don't have to be rude or racist to be funny just cheeky is always good.
