Roovie's 61st Birthday Pictures

Post by gtt1951 »

Hello friends, my 3rd car had a Birthday today - 61 years young[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]
The pictures were taken after giving the car a wash - it lives in the green Polytunnel and the tabby cat from across the road tends to sleep on both the saloons I store there.
Roovie was treated to a sunny afternoon drive and a shopping trip!
The 803cc engine makes for slow acceleration from a standing start, but we had a good time.

Regards, George.

It is a car thing - it houses Roovie and MM Sweetie (my 1951 side-valve). I'm working on getting planning permission to build a detached garage in my front garden to properly house, and work on, my "collection".
The polytunnel also houses the tabby cat, from across the road, who has taken a shine to sleeping on top of MM Sweetie.
