Driving north up the A6 in Derbyshire today. They've just resurfaced the road and the line painters haven't arrived yet.
Tell you what, start of a bank holiday weekend, heavy tourist traffic etc.but people drove really well. Think I'd heard that too many road signs distracted drivers and maybe the same applies to daubings on the road?
No dodgy overtaking,no tailgating,very impressive.
No lines!

Re: No lines!
When traffic lights fail the traffic usually flows just as well and drivers manage to sort them selves out without too much difficulty

Re: No lines!
I think that white lines originated as a result of the blackout???
Oddly enough Powys County Council have just gone to town with double white lines on the B4560 on the top of Llangynidr Mountain.
