Not real,of course! Like a soap opera because that's what the TV people have decided we want to watch. My beetle came back after a year and that was no concours job! Cheap and solid was the plan and it seems to have worked.
Entertaining,nevertheless!

Cheap, fast or done well, you can only choose two.
With enough people and budget it's feasible. Keep in mind before the show a thorough analysis of the car is done and all necessary parts are sourced.

On some episodes you can see the other cars that they're working on. I think they do a good job and I enjoy the show.

And, there's always something that goes wrong just before they hand the cars back to the owners. Staged or what!
But I do enjoy it.

Re: CAR SOS NEW SERIES
Car SOS is the best of the restoration shows, Fuzz is a true gent and there can be no doubt about his and his team's abilities. They are doing it to surprise the owner who has come up against difficulties in their lives instead of flogging the car later. I like the show.
Re: CAR SOS NEW SERIES

i think the owner of the Volvo sadly died shortly after the restoration of his motor
