Ambassador model, a sad story.

Post by LobbyLudd »

Some said it had to happen eventually. When Hindustan Motors in India 'bit the dust' in 2014 following diminished sales of the iconic 'Morris Oxford' based shape design version by Hindustan Motors the Ambasssador saloon seen in everyday use there. It has apparently resulted in over a thousand car workers losing their jobs overnight and still owed their dues by the company. The vast majority of these ex car workers have been living in abject poverty since with no government help.
Latest news is that French owned Puegeot have just bought up for a reasonably large sum Hidustani Ambassador design and presumably production rights ?
'69 4 door saloon, traf: blue.

A way to get out of any obligations to the Vauxhall pension scheme, I suspect!
